About this skill

Problem

Yuque knowledge bases often sit alongside local Markdown, Office files, and bulk exports. Manual copy-paste can break structure. This connector imports local files into Yuque and downloads Yuque docs, knowledge bases, directories, or notes as local Markdown, which is useful for migration, backup, and editing.

How It Works

It uses yuque-mcp to call Yuque APIs. Typical workflows read local files, convert them to Markdown or HTML, then create or update docs. Downloads call yuque_get_doc to save a file; batch downloads fetch the TOC first and then retrieve each document. Imports support .md, .docx, .xlsx, .html, .txt, .csv, .json, and zip/folder archives. Multi-sheet Excel files can be split into separate docs. Downloads support single docs, full knowledge bases, selected directories, and notes, with .md as the default output. Additional capabilities include TOC organization, document search and references, updates, notes, and Board resource creation. Requests handle 429 rate limits and 500 errors with retries and failure reports.

Boundaries

Image attachments and binary files such as audio/video cannot be uploaded directly; use external image URLs or the web UI. yuque_create_resource only supports board type. Yuque token and local MCP configuration are machine-specific, so changing computers requires reconfiguration. Batch jobs are subject to API rate limits, so downloads include waits to avoid triggering 429.

Use Cases

  • Batch import local Markdown, Excel, or CSV into Yuque, splitting multi-sheet workbooks into separate docs.
  • Download all docs under a Yuque directory as local Markdown files for offline review or diffing.
  • Sync edited local docs back to Yuque and reorganize the TOC so teams can locate modules faster.
  • Export Yuque notes as Markdown into a local note archive to keep fragments out of the web UI.

Best For

  • Product managers maintaining Yuque who want local PRDs and tables organized into online TOCs
  • Engineers handling doc backups who need to pull full knowledge bases as local Markdown
  • Blog authors who want Yuque notes and local CSV/JSON converted into editable docs
  • Team assistants switching machines who need to restore the same Yuque knowledge base quickly
