About this skill

Problem

Amazon US product research often requires pulling bestseller items, prices, BSR, reviews, keywords, and sales trends from separate dashboards. Manual screenshots, copy-paste, and spreadsheet filling are error-prone and hard to compare across SKUs.

How It Works

Given an Amazon US bestseller URL or category keyword, the skill runs in two stages:
- Stage 1: scrapes ranked products and collects fields such as main image, ASIN, price, category/BSR, feature summary, brand/store, and Xiyou keyword screenshots, then produces a timestamped Excel workbook and HTML report.
- Stage 2: reads the latest file under output/, extracts the ASIN list, queries Sellersprite for 1–12 monthly sales and core keyword trends, and writes them back into the sheet.

The workflow reuses a locally logged-in Chrome session through CDP, so account credentials do not need to be stored in the script.

Boundaries and Notes

It is suitable for Amazon US single-list or category screening, not a full business due-diligence replacement. SellerSprite and Xiyou DOM changes can break selectors; if the target xlsx is open in WPS, it only asks you to close it and will not save a new file. The “positive/negative review” section is intentionally left blank, and some selectors may need manual tuning.

Use Cases

  • Turn an Amazon US bestseller URL into an Excel sheet with product fields and keyword screenshots.
  • Compare price, BSR, reviews, and brand/store details for a selected category.
  • Backfill Sellersprite monthly sales and core keyword trend charts into the research workbook.
  • Produce an HTML report for cross-item comparison with images and trend charts.

Best For

  • Amazon US operations owner: needs ranked products and keywords organized into one sheet.
  • Cross-border category analyst: needs price, BSR, reviews, and sales trends for comparison.
  • Ops assistant maintaining product research templates: wants less manual capture and backfill.
  • Seller preparing launch research: needs comparable product profiles, keyword shots, and trends.
