About this skill
Problem
MBA preparation often stalls at right/wrong results instead of diagnosing reasoning boundaries, traps, and transfer. This skill combines 260 exam questions from 2021–2025, 16 knowledge nodes, and conversation state to use Socratic questioning rather than immediate answers, exposing blind spots.
How It Works
- Adaptive questioning: mixes weak-point, related, and trap questions using a
60/30/10ratio. - Dynamic follow-up: shifts between probing, explanation, short answer, or topic change based on user signals.
- Understanding levels: distinguishes mechanical recall, logical understanding, and transfer through
L1/L2/L3. - Relations and paths: mines related nodes from wrong-answer co-occurrence and analysis references, then orders prerequisite concepts.
It can initialize a SQLite database from seed.json, save question patterns to references/, and record notes to Obsidian.
Boundaries
It is aimed at reviewing quantitative and logic MBA material, not a general learning platform. If the user is impatient, asks for the answer directly, or changes topic, it stops probing and gives a short answer. It is better suited for cognitive diagnosis than for answer-only drills.
Use Cases
- After finishing wrong quantitative questions, ask the skill to generate weak-point, related, and trap questions to diagnose failures.
- When stuck on weakening questions, request a Socratic challenge, then switch to explaining the five causal-weakening paths.
- Returning after days off, ask for 3-5 restart suggestions instead of continuing to probe the previous problem.
- After solving a set-intersection problem, save the mnemonic and common traps to the MBA math folder in Obsidian.
Best For
- MBA exam candidates who need to turn quantitative wrong answers into reasoning blind spots.
- Logic-prep candidates who need to decompose causal weakening questions using five paths.
- Candidates returning from a study break who need a restart strategy, not just a single-problem explanation.
- MBA candidates who want to capture question patterns and notes in an Obsidian knowledge base.
