About this skill

The Problem

When a classroom presentation is close, the risk is rarely the script. It is the physical preparation: props, handouts, spare batteries, tape, and transport tubes may be missing, fragile, or impossible to unpack in order. This skill turns that preparation into a one-page checklist, reducing last-minute gaps and classroom setup friction.

How the Skill Works

It is a prompt-only skill focused on logistics and materials, not academic content. It should not collect student names, grades, health records, disciplinary details, or school account data. It asks for practical inputs such as topic label, format, location type, prop categories, restricted items, transport method, and available time. If details are unknown, it can produce a generic classroom-safe checklist and mark items to confirm with the teacher.

Key steps include:
- Break down the presentation: intro, main demonstration, visual display, handout moment, closing.
- List required props: item, presentation part, packing status, and handling notes.
- Add low-risk backups: printed notes, spare markers, batteries, tape, charger, and a photo of the setup.
- Plan transport: container, padding, carry method, weather protection, and items that must stay upright or flat.
- Order classroom setup: first item out, display position, usage order, and cleanup items.
- Finish with a door check: poster or display, props, notes, handouts, backup, and personal comfort item if allowed.

Boundaries and Notes

It fits posters, slides, speeches, demonstrations, models, experiment displays, skits, and show-and-tell. Items such as liquids, food, sharp objects, electronics, animals, or strongly scented materials should be flagged for teacher confirmation. It does not write the academic presentation and must avoid sensitive student data; use neutral role labels such as presenter or helper when coordination is needed.

Use Cases

  • A student has a science fair tomorrow with a display board, volcano model, and handouts, and needs a prop, transport, and door-check list.
  • A parent prepares a book-report presentation at night and needs to confirm whether posters, cue cards, and costume pieces are classroom-approved.
  • A teacher prepares a group history presentation and needs maps and printed materials packed in use order with items marked for teacher confirmation.
  • A student has a remote presentation with physical props nearby and needs a plan for containers, padding, charging, and handout backups.

Best For

  • Parents preparing props for a student classroom presentation who want to avoid missing tape, batteries, and handouts.
  • Students handling group presentation logistics who want items listed and ordered by presentation part.
  • Teachers planning pre-presentation setup who want a one-page checklist without student names or grades.
  • Students transporting models or experiment materials who need a plan for carry, protection, and backup supplies.
