About this skill

The problem

When preparing lessons, exams, or review materials, generic search results often come back as a pile of links, inaccurate content, mismatched grade or textbook editions, and paywalled pages. Teachers usually need usable materials: identifiable sources, comparable content, and citable references.

How it works

The skill normalizes the retrieval process. It first fills out intent from subject, grade, textbook edition, and topic, then searches in parallel across authoritative sources, formal education portals, and secondary reference sources. It prioritizes official ministry platforms, national K-12 education platforms, publisher resources, and provincial/municipal teaching-research institutes. Paid or copyrighted sources such as CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, and other paid portals are used only for discovery, bibliographic entries, and abstracts, not full-text copying. Results are deduplicated, checked against the requested edition, and scored on credibility, relevance, recency, and completeness. The final answer includes a ranked material list, conflict notes, and citation-ready reference entries.

Boundaries

It is useful for finding, verifying, and comparing teaching materials, not for generating full textbooks, grading assignments, or replacing school-level academic review. If networking is unavailable and no local folder or knowledge base is specified, it can only offer offline formatting advice. Key facts still require teacher verification.

Use Cases

  • Prepare high-school physics by finding edition-matched lesson plans, slides, exercises, and citations.
  • Compare explanations of one concept across materials and list conflicts, sources, and recommendations.
  • Search a specified local course folder for existing worksheets and micro-lessons without drifting topics.
  • Find review examples from authoritative K-12 sources and mark free, paid, and login limits.

Best For

  • High-school physics teachers preparing lessons need edition-matched plans, slides, and exercises.
  • Exam-set design teachers need to compare concept explanations and get citable references.
  • School resource managers need to search a local course folder for worksheets and micro-lessons.
  • Curriculum leaders need to compare authoritative portals and blogs and flag conflicts.
