About this skill

Problem

Many WeChat Channels videos are not purely entertainment; they may contain tutorials, method explainers, or structured knowledge points. Watching them directly makes it hard to tell which concepts are central, which constraints matter, and which points can be turned into review questions. This skill converts a public Channels link into structured study notes for learning and revision, not for marketing teardowns, verbatim subtitles, or interaction-data requests. It is useful when a single viewing session should become a searchable, reviewable artifact.

How It Works

After accepting a public HTTP(S) WeChat Channels link, the skill runs scripts/generate.js with --json and an isolated output directory to obtain a media summary or subtitle. It keeps the raw result in media-analysis.json. Once usable output exists, it:

  • identifies the knowledge topic, audience baseline, and learning goal
  • organizes concepts, methods, cases, and important constraints
  • separates original video statements, facts, and content-based inferences

The final note includes: learning objectives, knowledge outline, core concepts, cases and methods, review questions, and action checklist, with source link, platform detection, warnings, and evidence limits. If UNITYCLAW_KEY is missing, it guides the user to obtain the key and explains that the task can be retried, rather than only reporting a missing environment variable.

Boundaries

This skill suits knowledge-driven, method-based, or lesson-style videos, such as turning an explanation into review material or an action list. It does not accept account homepages, search pages, private links, credential-bearing URLs, or local network addresses, and it is not intended for entertainment-content marketing breakdowns, verbatim subtitles, or interaction-data requests. It does not fabricate speakers, timestamps, quotes, metrics, or facts; if the public link is inaccessible or media retrieval fails, it returns the limitation honestly.

Use Cases

  • A course compiler receives a public WeChat Channels lecture and needs a reviewable outline of core concepts and constraints.
  • A training lead receives a shared link and needs extracted knowledge points plus review questions and an action checklist.
  • A study assistant needs to separate methods, cases, and original video statements into structured study notes.
  • A self-learner watches a method-focused Channels video and needs learning objectives, outline, and review list.

Best For

  • Knowledge-management editors who need to turn course videos into reviewable study material
  • Training operators who convert shared links into knowledge points and review questions
  • Content researchers who organize method-focused video learning checklists
  • Self-learners who want public WeChat Channels explainers turned into study notes
