About this skill

Problem

E-commerce product images, creator media, and photo archives often need the same repetitive edits: compress dozens or hundreds of files to upload limits, add brand watermarks, normalize sizes, convert formats, or clean capture metadata. Manual processing is slow and can miss parameters, producing inconsistent deliverables. This skill turns those common image edits into repeatable batch instructions.

Workflow and Limits

It supports seven common tasks: batch compression, watermarking, format conversion, resizing, long-image stitching, EXIF editing, and batch renaming. For example, it can compress by target size or quality, add text or logo watermarks with position, opacity, and tiling options, convert between PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, and TIFF, resize by ratio, percentage, exact dimensions, or proportional crop, stitch images horizontally or vertically, read or clear capture metadata, and rename files by sequence, date, or prefix.

A typical run starts from a natural-language instruction and processes a folder with the specified parameters. Original files are kept, and outputs are written to a new folder such as _processed. For more than 500 images, it shows a preview first and asks before overwriting existing files. It does not perform RAW editing, AI cutout, or complex retouching; GIF processing uses the first frame only; multi-line text watermarks are not supported; very large images may be slow.

Use Cases

  • E-commerce ops compress product images to 500 KB and add brand watermarks before listing.
  • Creators convert travel photos to WebP, resize to 800 width, and stitch long images.
  • Photographers strip EXIF data and batch rename files by date prefix before delivery.
  • Operators convert screenshots to JPG, add anti-theft watermarks, and normalize 1:1 crops.

Best For

  • E-commerce operators listing large product sets who need batch compression, watermarks, and sizing.
  • Content creators publishing images who need format conversion, resizing, and stitching.
  • Photographers delivering photos who need EXIF removal and date-based renaming.
  • Design-support staff handling screenshots who need JPG conversion and anti-theft watermarks.
