About this skill
Problem It Solves
Short-drama scripts often start from a one-line premise, but direct full-script generation can drift: characters become inconsistent, episode structure gets loose, and the output is hard to reuse for shot references. xyq-short-drama separates the workflow into “confirm the concept first, then expand episode scripts,” helping the model maintain format and narrative consistency within a limited context.
How It Works
It first confirms the genre, core hook, and expected episode count, then outputs a concept brief: worldview, character system, and episode or standalone story setup. After user confirmation, it generates episode scripts. Each episode usually contains 3-5 scenes and follows short-drama conventions: scene headings, △ stage directions, character dialogue, and an end frame. It supports both anthology and serialized structures, and can continue later episodes from existing setup.
Limits to Keep in Mind
This skill produces script text only; it does not generate video, images, or finished footage. Due to context limits, a single pass is better suited to roughly 6-10 episodes, while longer projects should be generated in batches while preserving prior setup. It is not intended to replace professional screenwriters, feature-length film scripts, novel writing or translation, or real-time collaborative editing. If the goal is to turn the script into video, use a video generation capability instead.
Use Cases
- Expand a one-line transmigration premise into a short-drama draft with worldview, characters, and ten episodes
- Turn an existing outline into a shot-reference script with scene headings, stage directions, dialogue, and end frames
- Continue a mystery anthology where every five episodes form one case, while keeping character traits and format consistent
- Revise a generated third episode by replacing a conflict scene and outputting that episode again
Best For
- Short-drama script assistants: need to turn scattered ideas into episode structure
- Content planners: need to select shootable themes and hooks for short-video accounts
- Independent creators: want to confirm characters and worldview before batching scripts
- Storyboard artists: need text references with scenes, stage directions, and end frames
