About this skill

Problem

Customer feedback often appears as scattered text, CSV rows, or bullet lists. Manual analysis can confuse polarity, requirement type, and P0–P3 priority, and can miss closure risks or ownership. This skill turns customer-voice analysis into a repeatable workflow: confirm sample size and input format, apply business rules for classification, and produce an insight report for customers, product operations, and leadership.

How it works

Key steps include:
- Classification: distinguish positive, neutral, and negative feedback, then map items to functional, experience, performance, security, compatibility, defects, and other categories.
- Risk and clustering: check rules such as slow response, negative P0/P1 items, overdue resolution, closure validation, and bulk recurrence, then extract top pain points and highlights.
- Routing recommendations: organize items using “no matching customer intent → need-side, matched but unmet → supply-side”; unresolved P0 items must be highlighted, and samples under 5 records should be treated as indicative only.

Limits

When the customer-intent interface is unavailable, value matching and routing are inferred from feedback content. Original text containing names or phone numbers should be masked before quoting. The capability/product section depends on available data and may be marked as unavailable.

Use Cases

  • When a product review CSV arrives, label polarity, requirement type, P0-P3 priority, and attach representative quotes.
  • Before the weekly customer-voice report, cluster top pain points and highlights from scattered text and check overdue response and batch recurrence.
  • When fixes are shipped but closure is unclear, generate risk notes for unresolved P0, overdue validation, and complaint spikes.
  • When ownership is unclear, separate feedback with no customer intent for need-side and matched-but-unmet items for supply-side routing.

Best For

  • Operations analyst: needs to turn multi-channel customer comments into a dispatch-ready pain-point report.
  • Product project manager: needs to classify feedback by feature, performance, or security and prioritize closure.
  • Customer success lead: needs to surface complaint spikes, slow response risks, and an executive summary.
  • Engineering lead: needs unresolved P0 defects, batch recurrence, and defect details to set fix order.
