Problem

WeChat official account editors have limited support for rich CSS. Pasting raw Markdown directly often results in broken styles, unreadable code blocks, awkward spacing between CJK and Latin text, and inconsistent image or list layout. wechat-typeset-pro targets the workflow where a Markdown draft already exists but needs stable, inline-style HTML for WeChat.

How It Works and Boundaries

The skill uses format.py to convert Markdown into WeChat-compatible HTML and publish.py to optionally push content to the draft box. Key steps include:
- Structural preprocessing: Adds missing ## headings, lists, or emphasis when structure is weak, without rewording or changing content.
- Content enhancement: Detects dialogue, image galleries, key quotes, tips, and warnings, then maps them to containers such as :::dialogue, :::gallery, callouts, and figure captions.
- Theme rendering: Provides 30 themes with gallery preview, direct theme selection, or recommendations; all styles are emitted inline via style="...".
- Compatibility fixes: Applies CJK spacing, bold punctuation cleanup, footnote conversion, code highlighting, dark mode attributes, and zebra-striped tables.
Notes: it is a typesetting and publishing helper, not a content editor; draft push requires WECHAT_APP_ID and WECHAT_APP_SECRET environment variables; final rendering should still be checked in the WeChat backend.
