Problem addressed

XApp workflows often break across disconnected steps: creating, configuring, managing data/assets, syncing STS files, previewing, and publishing. This skill targets WorkBuddy and treats the server-side xapp_dev skill as the source of truth. It first loads xapp_dev through the visible xagent_skill_load route or the bundled adapter, so users do not need to install an extra connector or ask an administrator.

Core capabilities and workflow

• Dynamic loading: prefer visible native XAgent MCP tools; when a named tool is unavailable, call the bundled adapter, passing complex JSON through stdin without printing tokens.
• Development and publishing: covers xapp_list, lifecycle/configuration tools, logic-table tools, STS issuance, commit, and publish registration, while distinguishing “saved, previewable” from “published, runnable”.
• Safety boundaries: local xagent-files operations use the bundled file runtime; deletion-mirroring sync is disabled, push is non-deleting, and deletion requires explicit reviewed confirmation.
• Result surfacing: after each completed change, call preview_url; use surface=preview when unpublished and surface=run only after successful publishing. It avoids file://, localhost, raw OSS, signed OSS, and invalid preview targets.

Scope and limits

This skill is not intended for wxoa/wxca/wxcw integration, plugin upgrades, goods, grants, resource objects, risk records, or tenant admin settings. Charagent persona, behavior, FAQ, knowledge, media, or template design should use the charagent design skill. Only when the adapter returns auth_required should the user create or sign in with an XAgent MCP token.
