About this skill
Problem addressed
E-commerce operations teams often reuse inconsistent monthly review templates. Annual KPIs require weighted ratios and five-level coefficient bands, while monthly duties must total 120 points. Employee and manager forms also use different fixed items. Manual spreadsheet work can introduce errors such as weight not summing to 1.0, monthly score not totaling 120, hard-coded totals, inconsistent borders, and mismatched header styles.
How the skill works
The skill turns the process into a repeatable pipeline: confirm the role type, department, employee name, review period, and direct supervisor; collect annual and monthly indicators; generate the workbook with openpyxl; then validate the result. Annual items are described with name, weight, jop, coeffs, and note. Monthly items use name, score, and note. The generated Excel file applies the expected layout, including yellow header fills, orange input cells for proportion columns, thin borders, fixed column widths and row heights, and SUM formulas for totals instead of static values. It also checks merged cells, completion rules, and fill-in instructions.
Scope and limits
This is intended for producing standardized assessment workbooks for operations roles, especially employee and manager variants. It does not replace HR policy design, compensation approvals, or complex performance modeling. If KPI definitions vary significantly across roles, the metric names, definitions, weights, and scoring rules still need human review before distribution.
Use Cases
- Operations leads draft a June employee assessment by collecting KPIs and 120-point monthly duties into a formula-based Excel workbook.
- Manager forms require fixed items, up to 10 monthly rows, validation that weights sum to 1.0 and scores total 120.
- HR or ops managers produce employee and manager workbooks with unified yellow headers, borders, and SUM totals.
- When KPI wording is uncertain, use template examples for metric names, five-level coefficients, and notes.
Best For
- Operations supervisors who need a fixed 120-point monthly duty sheet with employee and manager variants.
- Operations specialists who want KPIs, coefficient bands, and notes consolidated into a standard Excel form.
- HR or ops leads who need unified headers, borders, SUM totals, and fill-in instructions without manual formatting.
- Performance administrators who must validate that annual weights sum to 1.0 and monthly scores total 120.
