About this skill
Problem
Jianshetong Construction Bidding and Tender Analysis helps engineering procurement, supply-chain, and investment teams address fragmented bid announcements, opaque company structures, and unclear relationships between purchasers, suppliers, and competitors. It is useful when you already have a product, region, company, or project clue and need historical bid data to estimate market scope, brand landscape, and price bands.
How It Works
The skill exposes 16 analysis tools through the Jianshetong MCP API, grouped into three workflows:
- Bid search: search_bids, query_bids_advanced, and get_bid_detail support keyword, region, amount, date, announcement stage, and exclusion terms.
- Company analysis: search_company matches headquarters and subsidiaries, while get_company_profile, find_competitors, and get_company_partners help identify business keywords, partners, and competitive overlap.
- Market analysis: get_top_purchasers, get_top_suppliers, get_top_brands, aggregate_bids_advanced, and get_price_trends provide top buyers, top winners, brand/model rankings, aggregations, and historical unit prices.
The important control is match_modes: use caller for a purchaser, winner for a winning supplier, tender for a bidder, and winner_tender for projects where a company participated. For complex logic, combine keywords, keyword_groups, and exclude_keywords to build OR main terms, AND groups, and exclusion rules.
Boundaries
Results depend on Jianshetong data coverage, keyword selection, and announcement stages. For trend forecasting, industry positioning, corporate strategy, or policy impact, treat bid records as the objective baseline and supplement them with public web sources. When comparing prices, use get_price_trends with a specific brand and model rather than mixing different product specifications.
Use Cases
- Before bidding, search recent announcements by region, product, amount, and date to shortlist opportunities.
- Use a company name to retrieve its issued tenders, wins, and bids, then identify procurement cadence and core business.
- For a product or brand, retrieve top purchasers, winning suppliers, and models to map the competitive landscape.
- When a contract is nearing renewal, find expiring recurring projects and recommend suppliers from similar historical projects.
Best For
- Sales engineers bidding on government or industrial park projects who need historical purchasing and award records.
- Procurement managers selecting suppliers who need to compare brands, models, and historical winning unit prices.
- Market analysts studying regional construction projects who need buyer, supplier, and industry aggregation data.
- Investment researchers who need tender records as objective evidence of business expansion.
