About this skill

The Problem

Primary and middle school students often have two concrete gaps in summer English study: exam mistakes are not grouped into weak areas, and textbook vocabulary and phonics rules are not turned into a daily schedule. As a result, review feels scattered, forgetting happens quickly, and parents may not know which module needs help. This skill combines exam analysis, textbook extraction, and spaced-repetition planning.

How It Works

  • Error diagnosis: parses exam images or files and maps mistakes to phonics, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and time expressions, then outputs a severity table.
  • Textbook parsing: extracts phonics groups, words, phrases, and sentence patterns from docx / pdf, builds a phonics group -> example words mapping, and keeps materials within the textbook.
  • Plan generation: asks for the vacation length, suggests 25-30 minutes per day, and schedules review using Ebbinghaus intervals [1,2,4,7,15,30].
  • HTML check-in page: generates an offline page with two learning phases, multiple-choice validation, mini stories, localStorage progress, and responsive layout.

Boundaries

Best for in-school, textbook-based remediation for primary and middle schoolers. It is not suited for external vocabulary expansion, online collaboration, or teacher grading. If the exam or textbook files are incomplete, the diagnosis and vocabulary coverage will also be limited.

Use Cases

  • A parent uploads an exam paper and textbook PDF, then asks for weak-area diagnosis and a 48-day English check-in page.
  • A tutor takes a student’s mistake list and wants a summer schedule rotating phonics, vocabulary, and grammar tasks.
  • A student provides word lists and phonics files, hoping to generate an offline study page with MCQs and flashcards.
  • A parent confirms the plan length and asks for a mobile HTML page with check-in and saved progress.

Best For

  • Parents who need to turn their child's exam mistakes into a summer review schedule and check progress.
  • Tutors who must assign daily phonics, vocabulary, and grammar practice strictly within textbook scope.
  • Middle school students who want word lists and phonics rules turned into daily MCQs and flashcards.
  • Household users who need to supervise 25-30 minutes of offline English study each day.
