About this skill

What Problem It Solves

Slide decks often inherit mismatched colors, fonts, and hierarchy because styling is assembled ad hoc: a title font is picked in the moment, body contrast is weak, and pages feel like they came from different templates. Theme Factory treats visual style as a reusable spec. Each theme contains a coordinated #HEX palette, complementary heading and body font pairings, and a visual identity suited to different audiences. The goal is not raw creative generation, but consistent styling at application time.

How It Works

The skill starts by showing theme-showcase.pdf, where users can review 10 presets such as Ocean Depths, Modern Minimalist, and Tech Innovation. After a user confirms a choice, it reads the corresponding file from the themes/ directory and applies the specified colors and typography across the slide deck or artifact. The workflow covers selection confirmation, spec application, contrast and readability checks, and maintaining the theme's visual identity across all pages.

Boundaries

It fits decks, proposal documents, and brand pages that need a unified style. The themes are curated presets, not a general design-system generator. If none of the 10 presets matches the target artifact, a custom theme can be generated from the provided input, but it should still be shown for review before being applied.

Use Cases

  • Before a client pitch, unify a 20-slide deck with the Modern Minimalist gray palette and body font.
  • When creating internal training material, apply the Forest Canopy earth tones and heading font for a calmer visual style.
  • While drafting a product launch page, apply the Tech Innovation theme colors and typography to titles and body copy.
  • When no preset fits the brand request, generate a custom theme from the client's color and tone description, then review and apply it.

Best For

  • Solution consultants preparing client pitches or proposals who need to unify slide colors and fonts quickly.
  • Operations or training leads creating internal training decks or business reports who need consistent professional styling.
  • Product managers writing landing pages or brand copy who need to apply a unified visual theme to text artifacts.
  • Freelance designers or front-end partners who need a reviewable custom theme from client color and tone notes.
