About this skill

Problem

Many poster-generation prompts produce visually cluttered output: the main concept is printed verbatim as a headline, then gradients, icons, and illustrations are added until the result becomes generic. This skill targets explainable, reusable, reviewable minimalist posters where typography and layout carry the meaning, such as social posts, portfolio covers, and concept-led brand visuals.

How It Works

It requires a parameterized design philosophy before rendering, then calls show_widget to produce SVG instead of describing the poster in prose. The workflow is:
- Requirement check: confirm the concept, required copy, background, and use case;
- Philosophy derivation: produce structured Markdown covering concept, visual logic, system behavior, parametric rules, and emergent effect, including font scale, margins, color count, and active-element limits;
- Direct rendering: output a 3:4, 600x800 SVG with at most three copy blocks and five active elements, using type hierarchy and negative space rather than decorative assets.

Boundaries

It fits strict, typography-driven minimalist work best. It is not intended for photo-heavy layouts, complex illustration, gradient-heavy design systems, or unconstrained creative exploration. The output depends on the clarity of the input concept; when the brief is under-specified, the skill asks clarifying questions instead of stacking visual elements.

Use Cases

  • Brand teams use it to turn an abstract campaign concept into a 3:4 typographic social cover.
  • Designers use it to build a portfolio entry piece where type hierarchy and spacing express a concept.
  • Product operations teams use it to place a launch theme and two key messages into a white minimalist poster.
  • Independent creators use it to derive parametric layout rules before rendering a 600x800 SVG poster.

Best For

  • Brand designers who need to turn abstract concepts into reviewable typographic layout rules.
  • Product operations staff making social covers who prefer type hierarchy over decorative icons.
  • Independent creators building portfolios who need fast 3:4 minimalist covers with consistent constraints.
  • Design-system maintainers who want layout limits encoded as parameters instead of ad hoc styling.
