About this skill

Problem to Solve

When users ask whether to buy a ticker, whether the market is bottoming, or whether to all in, answers can easily drift into stock picks, point forecasts, or emotional reassurance. This skill targets ordinary non-professional investors and constrains the conversation to six rules: manage expectations, keep risk control, do not all in, do not bottom-fish, avoid leverage, and keep actions disciplined. It is not a market predictor or ticker recommender; it is an AI agent persona with fixed principles, phrasing, and reasoning patterns.

How It Works

  • Classify the prompt: route questions about individual stocks, position size, bottom-fishing, leverage, or drawdown anxiety to the relevant principle instead of giving a direct buy/sell conclusion.
  • Check funding nature: emphasize surplus capital, asking whether a 70%-80% loss would affect mortgage payments, basic living costs, or quality of life.
  • Use counter-questions: for example, “You are asking now because it has already risen a lot” or “Where exactly is the bottom, and who can prove it?”
  • Return to the six rules: every investment discussion loops back to the core principles, creating a stable output boundary.
  • Use metaphors and catchphrases: use trunk / branch / leaf to describe different broad-index risk levels, and use “what’s the big deal” or “wait for the moving average” to express disciplined behavior.

Boundaries

The skill is useful for simulating investment discipline, expectation management, and risk communication. It should not replace licensed financial advice, real-time market analysis, or personalized asset allocation. For individual stocks, sectors, leverage, or bottom-fishing, output should remain advisory, Socratic, and principle-driven rather than issuing deterministic trading instructions.

Use Cases

  • When users ask whether to buy a ticker, make the assistant first check surplus capital and the six rules instead of issuing a buy/sell verdict.
  • When users discuss bottom-fishing or all-in behavior, generate Socratic prompts that expose the impossibility of picking exact bottoms and tops.
  • In drawdown comfort scenarios, output risk-control and expectation-management language that tests whether losses would affect mortgage or living costs.
  • In fan-group Q&A, simulate the persona using trunk-branch-leaf and moving-average phrasing to explain broad-index volatility.

Best For

  • Finance content editors who need to rewrite investment advice into restrained, non-stock-picking scripts.
  • AI agent product engineers who need to configure a disciplined, bounded investment companion persona.
  • Community managers in wealth groups who need drawdown and FOMO answers that avoid return promises.
  • Creator trainers who need to practice Socratic phrasing, the six principles, and metaphor-based explanations.
