About this skill

Problem

When a chat request says download Bilibili video, save BV, or similar, a generic downloader can still require manual commands, quality selection, and media merging. openspec-explore narrows Bilibili BV downloads into a strict conversational flow: once a trigger phrase and a BV number are detected, it starts immediately without extra confirmation.

How It Works

  • Trigger boundary: responds to 下载B站视频, 下载B站音频, 保存BV, and bilibili下载; in IDLE, non-matching input returns a not-triggered hint.
  • Input parsing: extracts BV[0-9A-Za-z]+ with a regex and normalizes the prefix to uppercase BV.
  • Download path: scripts/bilibili_download_skill.py manages state, while core/bili_downloader.py handles WBI signing, metadata lookup, media download, and ffmpeg merging.
  • Output choice: audio triggers prefer .m4a, falling back to .mp3 when unsupported; other triggers default to .mp4.
  • Error mapping: converts invalid bvid, ffmpeg failed, network timeouts, and other signals into readable messages.

Boundaries

It targets single-instance, sequential downloads; do not start multiple BV downloads concurrently in the same instance, and reset state after completion, cancellation, or failure to avoid stale pending tasks.

Use Cases

  • Recognize a Bilibili BV in a support chat and start a direct video download when the user asks to save the item.
  • When the user asks for Bilibili audio with a BV, prefer extracting m4a and fall back to mp3 if unsupported.
  • Validate trigger phrases and BV format in an agent flow so downloads only start after a valid ID is found.
  • Report clear FFmpeg missing or merge failure messages when local media processing fails during a Bilibili download workflow.

Best For

  • Engineers maintaining Bilibili download agents who need strict trigger rules, BV parsing, and reliable IDLE DOWNLOADING state machine controls logic.
  • Content producers organizing Bilibili audio/video assets who need a saved mp4 or m4a/mp3 file output from a provided BV number.
  • Local tooling developers debugging FFmpeg merging failures who need stable error mapping and clear fallback diagnostics for download workflow runs.
  • Product engineers building conversational download flows who need to avoid confirmation gates and concurrent BV download anti-patterns in agent usage.
