About this skill

Problem and Goal

When technical articles, retrospectives, event notices, or product explanations already contain useful information, the missing piece is often a ready-to-publish visual layout. Manual layout work can get stuck in repeated color, font, and module decisions, while pasting the full source text weakens visual hierarchy. This skill targets that scenario by turning text into a structured single-file HTML magazine poster and then delivering an image.

Core Capabilities and Steps

  • Content check: If the input is only an isolated title or vague sentence, it asks for a theme statement and supporting points; generation proceeds when at least one core statement and two to three information points can be extracted.
  • Style matching: It selects a style from semantics, including LITERARY, TECH, MARKETING, EDUCATION, WELLNESS, FOOD, FINANCE, CREATIVE, SOCIAL, PRODUCT, EVENT, and CLAUDE, or follows an explicit style request.
  • Content distillation: It extracts the core theme sentence, key modules, quote lines, metrics, and heading levels instead of pasting the entire source.
  • HTML and image output: It builds a self-contained HTML file using CSS variables, font rules, and layout modules from styles/xxx.md, then calls scripts/html_to_image.py by default to render .page-wrapper into a PNG.

Boundaries

  • Best for text material that is already specific enough to form a publishable image.
  • Not suitable when the material is too thin and the user cannot add details; it does not invent missing facts.
  • If Playwright or Chromium is unavailable, the limitation is reported and HTML is provided as the fallback.
  • Default delivery is PNG without HTML source; HTML is provided only when explicitly requested.

Use Cases

  • A technical writer condenses an architecture retrospective into a TECH-style poster for community sharing
  • A marketing editor turns launch highlights into a MARKETING poster image for a newsletter
  • A course operator creates an EDUCATION poster from a syllabus and key quotes for recruitment
  • An event organizer converts an agenda and highlights into an EVENT poster for invitations

Best For

  • Engineers writing technical retrospectives or architecture notes who need a quick community-share image
  • Course operators promoting syllabi and key quotes who need recruitment-ready poster images
  • Marketing editors creating event previews or conference recaps who need agenda poster images
  • Product or operations writers publishing feature highlights who need single-page visual assets
