About this skill

Problem

Gaokao volunteer planning is not just about comparing scores. It requires balancing province, subject track, batch, rank, volunteer table structure, major preferences, and family constraints. Without rank, it is easy to name schools prematurely. With an existing table, it is easy to mistake major names for employment outcomes. This skill splits zero-scratch recommendation and existing-table review into separate workflows.

How It Works

The entry point performs Step 0 intent routing:
- Existing volunteer table or review request: load workflows/evaluation.md.
- Score/rank only and no plan: load workflows/recommendation.md.
- Concept questions, data lookup, special admissions, or vocational batches: load the matching short flow.

Recommendation collects P0/P1/P2 inputs via shared/intake-8d.md, estimates reach/safe/target tiers from rank, and screens majors using shared/adi-assessment.md. Evaluation first checks table structure with shared/structure-sanity-check.md, then reviews majors with ADI. Each step writes artifacts to outputs/{case-id}/ and updates manifest.md for handoff.

Boundaries

The skill does not submit to official systems and does not promise admission. If rank is missing, it avoids specific school names and does not claim stable admission or XX% probability. Data should cite source and year. Directions failing ADI or clearly mismatched are not recommended by default. Art/sports, military/police, strong-base, special programs, and Sino-foreign cooperation load shared/special-admissions.md; borderline, vocational, and supplemental batches use workflows/supplemental-batches.md.

Use Cases

  • Review an existing volunteer table for batch structure, rank fit, and major mismatch, then output an evaluation report with inspection record.
  • Use only score, rank, and province to build reach/safe/target options, then run major fit screening for the draft plan.
  • Narrow direction options when parent and student goals conflict, using exclusions, employment paths, family constraints, and social reality notes.
  • Check vocational, supplemental, or borderline batch rules, then produce a handoff-ready inspection record for special cases.

Best For

  • Students with an existing volunteer table who want to check rejection risk, major fit, and reach/safe/target structure
  • Students with only score and rank who need a zero-to-one direction and volunteer draft
  • Applicants facing parent conflicts or weak major understanding who need socially grounded narrowing
  • Volunteer advisors who need to review special admissions, vocational batches, and handoff artifacts
