About this skill

Problem

Chain-restaurant food operations often split recipes, cooking procedures, store inspections, nutrition customization, and cost reporting across separate spreadsheets. New dishes may lack a shared BOM, process SOP, and quality gate; field checks on QSC, dosing, temperature control, and shelf life rely on experience; and loading every nutrition SOP at once can create routing errors and restriction conflicts. This skill organizes chain-store food-technology standards into intent-routed reference files and scripts, reducing the chance of wrong file selection, mixed dietary restrictions, or missed cost calculations.

How It Works

  • Recipe development: Build recipe documents from BOM, ingredient ratios, cooking techniques, and process SOPs, with cost and validation support such as bom_calculator.py and recipe_validator.py.
  • Store inspection: Cover QSC, ingredient dosing, temperature control, and shelf-life checks, then produce an inspection report for corrective-action tracking.
  • Recipe change control: Route changes by type, including T1 urgent food-safety withdrawal, T2 core ingredient or process changes, T3 minor flavor adjustments, and T4 cost changes.
  • Nutrition customization: Load one targeted SOP at a time for fitness, diabetes, gout, gluten-free, halal, pregnancy, elderly, allergen, and other groups. Exercise routing further distinguishes strength, endurance, yoga, ball sports, and outdoor scenarios.
  • Cost and reports: Use store_management_calculator.py for break-even, table turnover, labor efficiency, and ingredient cost rate, and use report_auto_generator.py to generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports from sales data.
  • Reference expansion: Query equipment compensation and cuisine parameters on demand instead of loading all reference files at once.

Boundaries

This skill fits chain dining, group catering, store R&D, and supervision workflows. It treats recipe authority, shelf-life entry, allergen label consistency, frying-oil limits, and raw-food cold-chain rules as hard constraints. When seasonal customs conflict with dietary restrictions, food safety and group-specific restrictions take priority. It is not a food-safety certification, medical diet prescription, or brand consulting service; local regulations, store equipment, and supplier qualifications still require review.

Use Cases

  • Develop a new menu item by generating a BOM-based recipe document and calculating cost.
  • Run a store inspection around dosing, temperature, shelf life, and QSC, then issue a report.
  • Handle group orders for diabetic, halal, or allergen guests by splitting menus and checking restrictions.
  • Prepare month-end review reports and charts from daily sales data.

Best For

  • Restaurant R&D owners who need a single BOM, process SOP, and new-item cost estimation workflow.
  • Regional supervisors who must check dosing, temperature, shelf life, and create corrective actions during store visits.
  • Group-meal operators who need to split menus for diabetic, halal, or allergen guests while controlling restrictions.
  • Store managers who need to turn sales data into daily, weekly, and monthly reports and track operating metrics.
