About this skill

Problem It Solves

Manually entering a fixed set of digital products into SellApp can create missed items, duplicates, or inconsistent prices and descriptions. sellapp-autolist targets a narrower catalog-sync task: it compares current store products against a defined target catalog and creates only the missing digital products, such as Notion templates, PDFs, calculators, and setup guides.

How It Works

The core script is scripts/create_product.py, which automates listing through the SellApp v2 API:
- Calls GET /api/v2/products to read existing products;
- Compares them against the target catalog of digital products;
- Creates missing items via POST /api/v2/products;
- Sets visibility for new products to PUBLIC.

The built-in catalog includes Options Trading Brain Notion Template, Whale Alert Scanner — Trading Journal, Elliott Wave Cheat Sheet — PDF, and other trading/DeFi/freelance digital items, with prices and descriptions taken from the provided catalog. The environment needs Python 3, requests, and a SELLAPP_API_KEY saved in Zo Settings → Advanced → Secrets.

Boundaries

This is closer to a fixed-catalog sync script than a general store-ops tool. It does not rewrite existing products, manage orders, refunds, inventory, or pricing strategy. If the target product set changes, the catalog data inside the skill must be updated, and SellApp API permissions or field constraints should be verified against the live platform.

Use Cases

  • Ops staff batch-publish a fixed trading-template catalog to SellApp without missing entries.
  • Developers maintain a digital product script that reads existing items and creates only missing ones.
  • Creators list Notion templates, PDFs, and calculators with new products set to PUBLIC.
  • Store owners check SellApp v2 listings and backfill products missing from the catalog.

Best For

  • Trading-tool operators who need to list a fixed digital product catalog on SellApp.
  • Python developers maintaining SellApp v2 API automation scripts.
  • Creators publishing Notion templates, PDFs, or trading guides.
  • Store owners who need to verify products are listed and set to PUBLIC.
