About this skill

Problem

Many AI requests are not vague because of poor wording, but because key context is missing: no role, goal, steps, output criteria, or reference examples. Prompt Booster 2 targets these incomplete prompts by diagnosing what is missing and drafting a clearer, editable instruction.

How It Works

  • Mode selection: supports auto-completion and guided mode, so users can state a rough need first and choose whether to be asked follow-up questions.
  • Five-dimension scan: checks role/identity, task goal, steps/process, output standards, and reference examples, then marks covered, partial, or missing dimensions.
  • Auto-completion: fills gaps with the most common reasonable assumption, keeps each dimension to 1-2 sentences, and avoids turning the prompt into an essay.
  • Guided mode: extracts three key questions from the missing dimensions, prioritizing the ones with the highest impact on output, then integrates answers before delivery.
  • Delivery format: outputs a five-dimension card and a copy-ready prompt, distinguishes user-confirmed dimensions from inferred ones, and reminds the user to adjust the result.

Boundaries

It fits writing, planning, process descriptions, and other AI instructions that need requirement clarification. It is not ideal when the prompt already covers all five dimensions, or when the task is pure translation, code debugging, data analysis, or better handled by a specialized Skill.

Use Cases

  • Draft a new-product prompt with only one line, then add role, goal, style, and length.
  • Write a business proposal prompt from background notes, then check for missing steps, audience, and output standards.
  • Turn scattered workflow notes into an instruction after being asked three key follow-up questions.
  • Convert vague teaching needs into an executable prompt without relying on a course-script writing skill.

Best For

  • Operations colleagues who often give model instructions but miss role, steps, or output standards
  • Product managers who need to turn scattered requirements into reusable prompts
  • Consultants or trainers who need to clarify missing prompt dimensions before teaching others
  • Editors in copy or proposal work who often need vague ideas turned into executable instructions
