Problem

When an agent faces a concrete task such as React performance tuning, PR review, testing, or deployment, general capabilities may lack the required domain workflow, templates, or tooling. This skill turns a “how do I do X” request into a search problem in the open agent skills ecosystem, helping identify reusable skills before improvising a workflow.

How It Works and Boundaries

The skill focuses on skill discovery, candidate comparison, and setup guidance. It starts by identifying the domain and the specific goal, then searches with relevant keywords such as react performance, pr review, or changelog; afterwards it presents candidate skills with their names, purpose, source, and where to learn more, then guides the user toward the Skills CLI for follow-up actions if they choose to proceed. If no suitable skill is found, it falls back to handling the task directly or suggests creating a custom skill from an existing process. It fits Web development, testing, DevOps, documentation, code quality, design, and workflow automation; for one-off private workflows, highly customized internal systems, or operations requiring sensitive credentials, it only assists discovery and guidance and should not replace actual execution, permission checks, or security review.
