About this skill

Problem

Safety inspections often break down between evidence and paperwork: photos are taken, but hazard points still need to be written by hand, and ledgers, rectification notices, and self-check reports can drift out of format. This skill turns site photos into structured hazard records and produces deliverable documents aligned with safety inspection ledger and rectification notice requirements.

How It Works

  • Reusable config: on first use, write enterprise details into enterprise_config.json; later runs reuse name, default area, and responsible-person fields.
  • Image analysis: accepts one or many site photos, identifies hazard location, category, severity, and likely consequences, covering equipment, electrical, fire, work environment, personnel behavior, safety management, and other areas.
  • Severity handling: applies the provided general vs. major hazard boundaries with conservative defaults; issues such as dust buildup, missing signage, or messy cabling are treated as general hazards.
  • Document generation: calls scripts/generate_ledger.py, scripts/generate_notice.py, scripts/generate_self_check_report.py, and scripts/generate_learning_card.py to produce an Excel ledger, rectification notice, self-check report, and training cards.
  • Result summary: reports photo count, total hazards, category distribution, and rectification priority, making it easier to add owners and deadlines.

Boundaries

Hazard assessment depends on photo clarity, camera angle, and available context, so on-site verification is still required. Major-hazard judgments are assistive only and do not replace statutory safety review; rectification recommendations are general-purpose and should be adjusted to the enterprise's processes, equipment, and ownership model.

Use Cases

  • After photos of a power room or shop-floor aisle are taken, compile hazard locations, severity levels, and remedial actions.
  • After routine inspections, consolidate analyzed image findings into an inspection record sheet and a hazard ledger.
  • When suspected unsafe work is found, produce a notice listing locations, risk level, rectification deadline, and owner.
  • Before a team safety session, turn current hazards into cards with wrong practices, correct actions, and sign-off area.

Best For

  • Corporate safety administrators who need to turn site photos into archivable hazard ledgers and rectification notices.
  • Plant safety officers who need to identify equipment, electrical, and fire hazards during routine inspections.
  • Team leads who need to use hazard cases for safety training and collect learner sign-offs.
  • Compliance specialists who need to organize self-check reports and hazard category distributions using standard fields.
