Nuwa Meta Skill Generator

The Problem

When building a CodeBuddy skill by hand, keeping SKILL.md, main.py, marketplace.json, and requirements.txt consistent is tedious, and many skill ideas stay at the drafting stage. Nuwa Meta Skill Generator turns natural-language requirements into a runnable skill package skeleton, reducing the cost of template setup and directory organization.

How It Works

It starts with parse-requirement to extract the skill name, functional description, and trigger phrases, then uses select-template to match the structure from nine built-in templates: tool, analyzer, generator, converter, qa, reviewer, monitor, agent, and creative. After that, gen-skill-md, gen-main-py, gen-marketplace, and gen-requirements produce the files, build-skill writes them to a target directory, validate-skill checks file completeness, JSON validity, and frontmatter, and pack-skill packages the output as a zip. The generated main.py is a standard-library CLI framework with working entry points, argument parsing, and help output, while core business logic usually still needs to be completed for the actual use case.

Boundaries

It is suitable for creating new Python skills, generating prototypes for related skill families, or aligning a team's skill structure. It is less suitable for deeply customizing complex existing features, non-Python runtime skills, or fully bespoke business logic. The generated marketplace.json and SKILL.md should be reviewed before publication, and parse-requirement may require manually specifying a template for complex Chinese-language requirements.
