Liberating from Document Piles: The Pain Points and Automated Path for Bid Documents

Bid preparation is often buried under massive documentation: a tender document can easily exceed a hundred pages, requiring rapid extraction of qualification requirements, scoring criteria, and disqualification red lines. Subsequently, hundreds of pages of bid documents must be generated based on this information, with content strictly aligned to needs and formats conforming to templates. Finally, repeated checks are necessary to avoid disqualification risks from formatting errors or content oversights. This process is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and error-prone.

Core Capabilities: From Interpretation to Generation to Review

The skill addresses this workflow with three core capabilities, all implemented through interaction with the Bailian® Bid open API:

1. Intelligent Interpretation: Upload a tender document (.pdf/.doc/.docx, ≤50MB). The skill invokes backend services to perform deep analysis, outputting a structured report covering 8 dimensions—project information, compliance items, disqualification red lines, scoring criteria, etc.—along with control bid insights and participation recommendations.
2. Bid Generation: Based on an interpreted project, specify the sub-package and page count (up to 500 pages). It automatically generates a finished bid document (.docx) complete with table of contents, chapters, and "To-Be-Filled" bookmarked sections. The platform intelligently plans the content structure and attempts to auto-fill templated tables.
3. Compliance Review: Compares the generated bid document(s) (single or multiple, each ≤1024MB) against the original tender document for semantic and formatting checks. It outputs a tiered risk checklist (High Risk / To-Review / Informational), with each item citing the tender basis, bid evidence, and modification suggestions. A review report in HTML format can be exported.

The key workflow is a linear sequence of "Interpretation → Generation → Review", where later steps typically reuse project data from the previous one. All task commands are executed in the background by the AI assistant; users only need to provide the file and describe their requirements.

Boundaries and Important Notes

Please be aware of the skill's conditions and limitations:
- Credits and Authentication: The bid generation function consumes credits. The skill relies on an App Key for API calls and identity verification. A trial credit balance is provided upon first installation; after exhaustion, a formal Key must be obtained via the specified official website and saved by pasting it.
- File Processing: Cloud URL links are downloaded to the local machine before processing. Generation may take over 10 minutes, and the assistant will report the progress.
- Output Location: The absolute full path of the output files (interpretation report, bid document, compliance report) is directly provided to the user for easy access. Reports use an editorial layout (including sidebar navigation, risk statistics, and card-based issues).
- Functional Focus: The skill concentrates on document-level analysis, generation, and checking. Strategic or content-based decisions—like "which sub-package to bid on" or "how to respond to technical requirements"—still require human intervention. It does not handle the automated filling of non-textual information such as qualification certificates or pricing.
