API Doc Speed Reader is for quickly understanding an API before integration. It turns pasted documentation into a structured, checkable summary, reducing repeated manual scanning.
How It Works and Boundaries
It first identifies the doc style, such as RESTful, GraphQL, or RPC, then extracts core endpoints, HTTP methods, URL patterns, parameters, response fields, and error codes. It can generate curl, Python, and JavaScript examples, mark required/optional parameters, and highlight auth methods, rate limits, common pitfalls, and error-code remedies. It is also useful for comparing endpoints or old/new API versions.
Limits: it cannot fetch external links, so paste the doc body; it generates examples only and does not send real HTTP requests; complex business logic still requires reading the original docs; it is not a replacement for API design, interface testing, or full SDK development. Prefer pasting auth notes, core endpoints, and error codes, and avoid sharing real credentials.
