About this skill
Problem
Personal creators face fragmented hot-topic data across Weibo, Douyin, Baidu, Zhihu, Toutiao, Xiaohongshu, 36Kr, and WeChat articles. Collecting one platform at a time makes it hard to decide which trends can become publishable topics. Raw trend lists also lack user context, so the analysis may drift away from the creator's professional background and content direction.
How It Works
The skill first reads ~/.workbuddy/memory/ and ~/.workbuddy/USER.md to capture the user's profession, project direction, research area, and content preferences. It then aggregates Top 10 items from eight platforms via WebSearch and WebFetch, preserving rank, topic, heat value, and a brief summary. The output is a self-contained HTML briefing with platform cards, a keyword tag cloud, and hotspot interpretation. When user memory is rich, the analysis generates topic angles such as opinion, trend judgment, and experience review; when memory is thin, it falls back to a general content analysis mode and asks the user to add domain context.
Boundaries
This skill is intended for daily topic selection and content planning, not real-time trading signals, crisis monitoring, or automatic publishing. Xiaohongshu live rankings may be unstable, and WeChat article data relies on a Sogou/WeChat ecosystem source. If platform data is incomplete, the briefing continues with a note. The final HTML file is suitable for preview, sharing, or static deployment, but a single trend score should not be treated as a guaranteed content performance indicator.
