Problem

Many nursing care plans remain as template documents and do not translate primary diagnosis, symptoms, and clinical summary into an actionable pathway. In practice, a plan should be grounded in Chinese Nursing Association group standards and mapped to the patient’s condition and hospitalization period.

How It Works

The skill follows a fixed workflow for generating care monitoring plans:
- Information check: it identifies key inputs such as diagnosis, chief complaint, care level, and length of stay, then confirms them with the user.
- Standard search: it fetches the list of Chinese Nursing Association group standards and matches 1-3 relevant nursing operation standards, such as airway care, ostomy care, chemotherapy extravasation prevention, or restraint care.
- PDF structuring: it extracts standard PDF text with pdfplumber and optionally uses a cloud LLM or rule-based extraction to output structured nursing points.
- HTML generation: it produces a clinical-style, A4-printable care pathway with a timeline, execution checkboxes, and standard citations.

Boundaries

The output is for clinical reference only and must be confirmed by a registered nurse based on the patient’s actual condition. If a PDF requires login, text extraction is empty, or diagnosis details are incomplete, the skill falls back to web text extraction, a general standard baseline, or requests additional information.
