Problem Addressed

Lawyers preparing complaints, responses, or retrial filings often need to turn scattered PDF, image, and Word evidence into a court-submittable evidence list. Manual drafting usually requires extracting evidence names, dates, page counts, sources, and proof points, while keeping headings, punctuation, and sub-evidence numbering consistent. This skill targets that document workflow: it starts from the uploaded evidence and generates a draft for review instead of asking the user to fill fields repeatedly.

How It Works

The user uploads evidence materials and provides the litigation role and core claim. The skill then attempts to extract:
- evidence names, dates, page counts, sources, and form;
- ordering by timeline and procedural versus substantive relevance;
- the correct heading, such as Plaintiff Evidence List or Defendant Evidence List;
- for non-plaintiff roles, both proof and rebuttal sections.

The output is a .docx file in a non-table paragraph layout, with heading, evidence identifiers, source, proof objects, and signature block. For images, scans, or textless PDFs, it tries OCR, conversion, or available extraction skills, then asks for key details only when it cannot read the file. The user can revise names, dates, order, sources, and signature directly in the draft before generating the final file.

Boundaries

It fits law firms organizing litigation evidence directories from existing materials, but it does not replace legal argumentation, case research, or filing-compliance review. If rebuttal lacks the opposing complaint, evidence list, or response, the skill can only mark that section as pending; it should not invent rebuttals. Default inferences about originals, sources, and evidence form still require human confirmation.
