Problem It Solves

Contract review often fails at the practical level: teams can read clauses, but still miss legal compliance issues, drafting gaps, and unbalanced rights and obligations. This skill targets Mainland China contracts and turns scattered legal checks into a repeatable pre-signing workflow.

How It Works

The skill processes input in a fixed pipeline:

• Input parsing: accepts raw text, PDF, DOCX, DOC, JPG/PNG images, and cloud document links; low-confidence OCR results trigger a re-upload request.
• Type confirmation: identifies the contract type and waits for user confirmation before loading the matching legal references, such as common-law.md, labor-law.md, or sales-law.md.
• Three-layer review: checks mandatory legal requirements, party qualification, disclaimers, penalties, and dispute resolution; then scans for unclear terms, ambiguous amounts, missing clauses, and inconsistencies; finally reviews one-sided termination, modification, burden of proof, and hidden fees.
• Risk output: classifies findings as 🔴 high, 🟡 medium, or 🟢 low, with legal citations where available.

Limits

It provides risk flags and drafting suggestions, not formal legal advice, and does not modify the original document. It applies to Mainland China law only, does not cover criminal contract issues, and cannot guarantee that every risk is found. High-stakes contracts should still be reviewed by licensed lawyers.
