Problem

When an engineer receives an Excel report, the friction is often interpretation, not extraction: which growth is real, which variation is anomalous, whether to use a line or bar chart, and whether the conclusion can go into a report. Data Report Interpreter targets this workflow by asking users to paste tabular data or numeric lists, then interpreting only the visible data.

How It Works

• Core capabilities: trend and pattern identification, anomaly and turning-point labeling, YoY/MoM comparison, chart recommendations, and report-ready analytical conclusions.
• Key steps: accept pasted data, infer structure, type, and business context; compute basic statistics and flag outliers; recommend line, bar, pie, or scatter charts based on data shape; summarize findings and provide actionable business suggestions.

Boundaries and Caveats

• No file reading: it cannot open Excel files or file links; users must paste the data.
• No chart files: it provides chart suggestions, visual intent, and configuration notes, while actual rendering is left to Excel, BI, or other tools.
• Business context matters: without definitions, source, or metric logic, analysis remains statistical; important conclusions should be validated with context.
• Not for complex tasks: data collection, database operations, professional modeling, or advanced forecasting should use dedicated tools.
