About this skill

Problem

WeChat does not expose a stable RSS feed, so tracking competitor accounts, industry accounts, and inspiration sources often means opening multiple official accounts manually. For monitoring or editorial planning, titles, summaries, reads, likes, and links are scattered and hard to review as a table.

How It Works

The skill manages subscriptions as a fixed list:
- Group accounts by competitor, peer, or watchlist, up to 20;
- Query posts using account, wxId, or bizInfo;
- Retrieve publish date, author, title, summary, reads, likes, and article link;
- View results in the terminal or generate an HTML report and open it in a browser.

Boundaries

It fits daily briefings, competitor tracking, and monitoring high-signal industry accounts. Data comes from the Redfox broad coverage library; missing accounts usually mean an incorrect account ID or coverage limitation. Reports focus on titles, summaries, and engagement metrics. Summaries, rewriting, or style imitation require additional LLM processing.

Use Cases

  • Operations staff summarize the latest posts from multiple competitor WeChat accounts and check reads and likes quickly.
  • Content editors organize new posts from watched accounts into a fixed table for editorial discussions on summaries and highlights.
  • Marketing analysts group posts from peer accounts by category to identify competitor publishing cadence and content direction.
  • Team leads generate a daily WeChat report for sharing titles, summaries, and article links.

Best For

  • Operations leads who need daily tracking of competitor WeChat accounts.
  • Content editors who turn industry account updates into editorial discussions.
  • Marketing analysts who use reads and likes to judge content performance.
  • WeChat content team leads who need shareable HTML daily reports.
