About this skill
Problem: Channels links are not directly savable
When working with WeChat Channels videos for remixing, competitor reference, or editing, the content is usually playable in WeChat but hard to save as a clean file. Screen recording introduces quality loss and extra cleanup work, while pasting the share link into a browser often does not produce a downloadable asset. This skill addresses that workflow: given a share link in the form https://weixin.qq.com/sph/xxxxxx, it resolves a real downloadable video URL and returns the metadata needed for archiving.
How it works: links in, direct URLs and metadata out
Submit one or more WeChat Channels share links, separated by spaces. After resolution, the result includes:
- Direct video URL: suitable for downloading or opening in a browser;
- Video title: useful for naming, indexing, and cataloging;
- Cover image: helpful for previews and asset management;
- Watermark-free source file: the resolved address is intended for the original video, making it easier to move into editing workflows.
The skill requires a Redfox Data API key. Results are returned synchronously after submission, so there is no need to poll for an async job. Because resolved video URLs are typically temporary, it is best to download them promptly.
