Patterns such as confirmation bias, bandwagon effect, and self-serving bias can make decisions, learning, and communication look rational while hiding the actual risk. This skill is aimed at engineers and managers who need a traceable diagnostic path rather than a one-shot conclusion or a proxy decision.
How It Works
The skill first routes user intent into six domains using trigger keywords: decision, learning, action, communication, influence, and management. After the domain is confirmed, it loads the matching reference file and follows the domain-specific flow:
- Decision: uses
D0to distinguish one-way and two-way doors, converting one-way choices into testable experiments when needed. - Learning, action, communication, influence: selects a mode, asks diagnostic questions one by one, and produces a bias diagnosis card.
- Management: expands to five diagnostic questions and outputs a strategy checklist.
Interaction enforces one question at a time, preferring option cards and falling back to numbered text options when the tool is unavailable. A loop-prevention mechanism escalates through gentle reminder, rephrasing, open-ended fallback, and automatic skip. Recovery commands such as continue, restart, and resume at Qx help restore progress.
Boundaries
This skill supports thinking rather than making the final decision. Unassessed dimensions are marked as not assessed, while skipped items are tracked separately. When using bias patterns to influence others, it must remain within the limits of no harm, transparency, and mutual self-check.
