About this skill

Problem

In A-share annual reporting and dividend seasons, the harder task is not finding already announced dividend plans, but estimating which companies may still have unannounced dividend or transfer potential. Reacting to announcements can be late, while chasing themes lacks a financial anchor. This skill narrows the task to two measurable dimensions: cash dividends and stock dividends, helping filter candidate stocks from public annual reports, dividend data, and market information.

How It Works

The skill follows a workflow of data collection, exclusion, tiering, and reporting:

  • Cash dividend screening: uses consecutive dividend history, undistributed profit per share, ROE, and earnings stability to assess sustainable payout capacity.
  • High transfer screening: checks capital reserve per share, undistributed profit, total shares, relative share price, and historical transfer or stock dividend records to identify companies with capacity for bonus shares or splits.
  • Candidate tiering: prioritizes stocks with stronger undistributed profit and capital reserves, then adds stable sector leaders, and finally includes smaller-cap candidates with high capital reserves and growth signals.
  • Report output: lists ticker, name, board, key metrics, and inferred plans, while separating conservative, balanced, and growth-oriented views and adding risk notes.

Boundaries

It is useful for building a pre-announcement candidate list around annual reports and dividend season, not for treating predicted plans as certain outcomes. Actual dividends and transfers still depend on company announcements; earnings changes, policy shifts, and market conditions can alter final plans. High transfer is not the same as enhanced returns, so fundamentals, valuation, and liquidity checks are still needed.

Use Cases

  • Before annual results, build an unannounced high-dividend candidate pool using undistributed profit, capital reserve, and payout history.
  • Use capital reserve per share, total shares, and transfer records to judge which firms may propose bonus shares or splits.
  • After removing companies with announced dividend plans, organize remaining candidates into three screening tiers.
  • Before final plans land, put key metrics, inferred schemes, and risk notes into a research brief for internal review.

Best For

  • Equity researchers who need a quick high-dividend candidate pool before annual reports
  • Quant analysts testing dividend strategies and screening portfolios
  • Investment-content editors tracking high-transfer themes and checking financial conditions
  • Asset-management researchers preparing dividend briefs with metric definitions and risk notes
