About this skill
The Problem
When users report headaches, insomnia, bloating, or fatigue, generic advice often lacks a clear TCM mechanism, continuous constitution context, and actionable routines. This skill turns TCM wellness into a repeatable advisory workflow: it first collects chief complaint, diet, stools, sleep, cold/heat, and emotional factors, then explains etiology, pathogenesis, and tiered care instead of recommending a single remedy.
Core Capabilities and Workflow
The skill works around three parts:
- Intake: if five or more dimensions are covered, it proceeds to pattern differentiation; otherwise it asks up to three targeted follow-up questions.
- Differentiation: it uses Eight Principles, Zang-Fu, Qi-Blood-Fluid, and external/internal causes, then outputs a fixed three-part structure: etiology, key pathogenesis, and layered care plan.
- Memory: scripts such as init_memory.py and sleep_reflection.py store constitution, history, and feedback, then reuse that context during follow-ups, summaries, and trend review.
The care plan covers routine, food therapy, acupoint massage, emotional regulation, exercise, and seasonal adaptation, with references to classical texts such as the Huangdi Neijing, Shanghan Zabing Lun, and Bencao Gangmu.
Boundaries and Cautions
The skill is for wellness guidance and education, not diagnosis, prescribing, cure promises, or acute care. For severe chest pain, vomiting blood, persistent high fever, or loss of consciousness, advise immediate medical care. Formula examples are reference only and should not replace a licensed TCM practitioner’s in-person evaluation.
Use Cases
- After a user reports insomnia or fatigue, break down TCM etiology and suggest routines, diet, and acupoint care.
- During follow-up, load prior constitution and feedback, summarize care trends, and update the health profile.
- When asking about seasonal food therapy, recommend current-season ingredients, dietary restrictions, and actionable plans.
- When learning classic formulas, retrieve source, composition, function, and output the required disclaimer.
Best For
- Wellness content editors who need to turn symptoms like insomnia or bloating into actionable TCM routines.
- Personal health reviewers who want to track consultation feedback and review wellness trends over time.
- TCM learners or researchers who need quick references for classic formulas, sources, and indications.
- Wellness product managers who need TCM pattern explanations and safety boundaries for chat responses.
