About this skill

Problem

Foreign trade inboxes often mix spam, platform notices, marketing campaigns, and real buyer inquiries. Manual triage is slow and easy to miss messages that contain quantity, target price, or lead-time details. foreign-trade-email-sorter is intended to separate Inquiry messages from noise and turn scattered purchase signals into a readable summary, not to send replies.

How It Works

The skill focuses on Gmail email handling:

  • Classification: route messages into Spam/Junk, Marketing, and Inquiry, with priority on keywords such as quote, RFQ, MOQ, and lead time.
  • Extraction: parse sender, company, country, product, quantity, target price, lead time, and priority into structured fields.
  • Output: aggregate the day's inquiries, sort them by High, Medium, and Low, and optionally write a daily report to Feishu or a local file.

Boundaries

This is best used as an early screening and lead-intelligence tool. Ambiguous emails, quotes embedded in attachments, or decisions that depend on CRM / ERP data still require human review. The skill does not replace quotation strategy, nor does it guarantee complete extraction from every format.

Use Cases

  • A sales rep filters real buyer inquiries from Gmail each day and prepares a to-reply list.
  • An assistant extracts product, quantity, target price, and lead time from inquiry emails.
  • A team lead reviews the Feishu daily brief and prioritizes high-intent purchase requests.
  • A sales rep separates marketing, platform notices, and buyer inquiries from junk email.

Best For

  • A foreign trade sales rep handling Gmail inquiries who needs quick high-intent filtering.
  • A business assistant organizing leads who needs fields such as product, quantity, price, and lead time.
  • An export team manager who needs a daily inquiry brief sorted by priority.
  • An export operations user receiving buyer emails in Gmail who needs to separate inquiries from marketing.
