About this skill
Problem
Local Windows settings are scattered across Control Panel, Settings, Device Manager, taskbar behavior, and vendor-specific apps. When handling requests such as “turn off ads”, “enable Bluetooth”, or “raise the refresh rate”, ad hoc PowerShell, registry edits, or disconnected agents can miss OEM or Intel/AIPC-specific behavior. This skill narrows the request space to supported local Windows state categories, especially in Intel, Intel AIPC, LocalComputer, or local assistant contexts.
How It Works
Rather than acting as a general Windows operations agent, it functions as a local computer-use routing skill with explicit triggers. It responds to Chinese verbs such as 打开, 关闭, 设置, and 查询, as well as English verbs such as open, turn off, set, and list. The supported capabilities include:
- Performance and power: CPU, GPU, NPU, memory, storage, battery, power-saving mode, and performance mode.
- Devices and connectivity: audio/volume, microphone, mouse, keyboard, camera, printer, Bluetooth, WIFI, Ethernet, network diagnostics, and latency.
- Display and shell appearance: resolution, scaling, brightness, night mode, fonts, refresh rate, wallpaper, theme, dark or light mode, taskbar, desktop icons, and ads.
- Apps and user configuration: app store, system apps, user-installed apps, default apps, account permissions, region, language, time zone, input method, privacy and security, and notifications.
Boundaries
Use it when the request clearly maps to one of the supported local Windows categories, even if the wording is simple. It should not be the default for remote servers, third-party app internals, network traffic analysis, driver-level faults, or tasks outside the listed settings areas.
