How It Works

• Check search_law first: if the MCP tool is unavailable, it prompts setup instead of substituting another answer path.
• Select scope: use scope: domestic for PRC law and scope: international for foreign rules, treaties, cross-border investment, or international arbitration; mixed questions are searched separately.
• Tune retrieval: top_k controls result count, while score_threshold controls relevance; precise statute lookups can use a higher threshold.
• Grade sources: statutes and judicial interpretations can be cited, while cases and theoretical materials are treated as supporting references only.
