About this skill

Problem

Job postings are scattered across BOSS Zhipin, Liepin, company career pages, and search results. Keyword-only searches can miss similar employers, and it is hard to judge how well a posting matches a resume. Job Hunter structures this workflow: resume parsing, preference capture, multi-channel search, scoring, and dashboard generation.

How It Works

  • Preconditions: Requires a PDF, Word, or image resume and option-based preferences for role, city, salary, and company preference, saved to profile.json.
  • Expanded search: Uses company-list.md as the employer scope, covering internet companies, AI unicorns, central/state-owned enterprises, and international AI firms; browser automation is only a fallback.
  • Matching score: Scores title, skills, industry, education, experience, and fit factors, then writes a matchReason explanation.
  • Dashboard: Outputs a local HTML dashboard with filters by channel, company, score, and city, plus sorting, pagination, and keyword search.

Limits

Best for users with clear job preferences who need batch screening. It does not guarantee applications or offers, and job links may expire; verify details on the employer page.

Use Cases

  • After collecting resumes, batch-search roles by city, salary, and employer preference, with match reasons.
  • With a saved profile, search roles across internet companies, SOEs, and AI unicorns, then filter by company or score.
  • Reuse the same job profile weekly, mark newly found roles, and generate a local dashboard for review.
  • Extract skills from PDF, Word, or image resumes, then score roles by salary, commute, and travel tolerance.

Best For

  • Product managers changing jobs who need roles filtered by city, salary, and employer preference.
  • AI industry candidates who want coverage across big tech, unicorns, and state-owned enterprises.
  • Recruiting ops analysts mapping candidate profiles to external job postings and reviewing a dashboard.
  • Consultants or solution managers batch-searching roles by skill keywords and employer type.
