About this skill
Problem to solve
Shenzhen social security contributions are often discussed as a vague total, but HR, finance, employee Q&A, and content teams usually need a concrete breakdown. For a given contribution base, they need the employee, employer, and combined amounts for pension, medical, unemployment, work-injury, and maternity insurance, ideally with a shareable detail card.
How the skill works
The skill turns Shenzhen five-insurance calculation into a repeatable workflow:
- Confirm city and base: it is Shenzhen-only; if the request only says “social security,” confirm the city first. The base can be supplied as 15000, 1.5w, or “use 10000.”
- Choose the work-injury tier: it defaults to the lowest 0.2% tier, and can move to 0.4%~1.4% for higher-risk industries such as construction, manufacturing, or logistics.
- Calculate and render: the script clamps each insurance item to its own base limits, prints a readable table, and can generate a PNG card with the Ant Social Security logo.
- Present the result: it highlights the employee total, employer total, and grand total, and calls out any base value adjusted to a minimum or maximum.
Scope and caveats
This skill covers Shenzhen enterprise employees only. It does not include housing fund, personal income tax, or other cities. The current rates and base limits use the 2025-07-01 ~ 2026-06-30 policy cycle; structured results can be obtained with --json when needed.
Use Cases
- HR answers new-hire questions by breaking down a given Shenzhen contribution base into employee, employer, and total five-insurance amounts.
- Finance pre-checks payroll by generating an itemized five-insurance table to verify rates and clamped base limits.
- Operations creates social security posts by converting the calculated result into an embeddable contribution card.
- Employees ask how much is deducted by entering a base and using the default lowest work-injury tier.
Best For
- HR teams answering Shenzhen employee social security and onboarding questions.
- Finance or payroll staff verifying five-insurance rates and contribution base limits.
- Operations or content writers producing social security explainers, client cards, or HR training materials.
- Shenzhen employees estimating their own employer and employee contribution amounts.
