What Problem It Solves

Public company information often mixes brand names, subsidiaries, broad business scopes and marketing language, so asking “what does this company do” can produce a vague answer. This skill turns an enterprise name into a traceable summary of main business and core products: it first disambiguates the target entity, then extracts fields such as main_biz, main_product, and brand to create a report useful for investment research, business development, or partnership evaluation.

How It Works

• It first calls the fuzzy enterprise search endpoint /common-api/search-ent. If only one candidate is returned, it proceeds automatically; if multiple candidates appear, it presents them as a table and asks the user to choose before continuing.
• After the ent_id is confirmed, it calls the main-business endpoint /ent-analysis/main-business to obtain business scope, main business description, main products, main market, and brand matrix.
• The output follows a fixed structure: summary table, basic main-business fields, core product-line analysis, and business-structure classification, with source labels for enterprise search or main-business data. Missing values are marked as “to be completed” or “to be verified” rather than invented.

Boundaries and Caveats

This skill fits enterprise main-business analysis when API data is available, especially when same-name candidates need separation, product lines need structuring, or sources need to be cited. It does not promise full financial statements, revenue shares, or competitive intelligence. If the API does not return a field, the report keeps it as unverified. When the name cannot be matched or candidates are ambiguous, the user should provide a more complete name or an ent_id.
