Interview prep often fails in three practical ways: candidates do not know which questions are likely, answers lack follow-up depth, and reflection stays vague. For engineering roles, behavioral questions, system design, algorithms, and project deep dives benefit from repeated rehearsal. This skill supports text-based mock interviews around a specific role, generating targeted questions, asking follow-ups, and reviewing answers by content, structure, and expression.

How it works

The skill first confirms the target role, company direction, experience level, and interview type. It then runs a simulation loop:
- Question generation: selects behavioral, technical, case, or pressure interview questions based on the role and difficulty.
- Follow-up probes: when answers are short, off-topic, or conclusion-only, it prompts expansion using STAR: situation, task, action, and result.
- Feedback: highlights strengths and gaps in answer quality, logical structure, and clarity.
- Wrap-up: summarizes the session, identifies priority improvements, and suggests further practice.

The useful part is turning preparation into repeatable question-answer, follow-up, and review cycles.

Boundaries

It is useful for pre-interview rehearsal, polishing answer frameworks, and rehearsing common technical or behavioral questions, including English interviews. It cannot assess body language, tone, or fully recreate real interview pressure; highly specialized technical questions may be shallow, and it does not guarantee passing. Resume editing, job recommendation, and salary negotiation are outside its scope. Sensitive company, project, or salary details should be anonymized before use.
