How It Works and Limits

The skill first identifies the task as a format check, format update, or batch process, then confirms the Word file path, discipline category, and output path. It defaults to the humanities, management, economics, and law heading style and requires an explicit switch for engineering or science styles. It reads a .docx file, parses the cover, abstract, main text, and references, then applies A4 page setup, 25 mm margins, fixed 20 pt line spacing, and font rules for titles, abstracts, keywords, body text, three-line tables, and references. English body text is treated as Times New Roman 12.

The output includes a formatted original_name_formatted.docx and a Markdown check or modification report. It relies on python-docx and works best when the document has clear standard sections. Complex equations, nonstandard tables, or three-line tables may still need manual adjustment; although the skill backs up the original file, keep your own copy for important drafts.
