About this skill
Problem It Addresses
A-share penny stocks often suffer from low liquidity, small money moving the price, and distorted charts from limit-up, limit-down, or opening auction behavior. Generic MACD or KDJ signals can become misleading. This skill focuses on a practical question: when a low-priced or small-cap stock appears to break out, is it a real trend start, a short-term impulse, or late-stage distribution? It first checks whether the chart is analyzable, then returns a bullish / neutral / bearish view and maps it to observation, confirmation, add, reduce, and stop-loss levels.
How It Works
The analysis deliberately deprioritizes single oscillator signals. It checks liquidity first, then turnover quality, then price-volume validation, and finally moving averages and momentum. Key steps include:
- Reviewing volume, turnover, free float, abnormal low-volume limit-ups, gaps, and seal distortion
- Identifying breakout with volume, pullback on shrinking volume, volume-price divergence, and high-level heavy volume with long upper shadows
- Watching the 5-day, 10-day, 20-day, and 60-day moving averages, especially whether the 20-day line flattens and turns upward
- Using MACD for second golden crosses above the zero line or top divergence, RSI for strength zones, and KDJ only as rhythm support
Limits and Caveats
This is a technical-analysis workflow, not a profit guarantee. When the stock shows one-line boards, extreme gaps, distorted order-book behavior, or insufficient volume, the output should be treated as a weak reference. It does not treat all volume expansion as bullish and does not mechanically apply overbought/oversold rules. It is better used for review, trade setup, and risk control, not as a substitute for disciplined execution.
Use Cases
- Review a low-priced A-share stock breaking a platform to distinguish a valid start from a fake breakout.
- Analyze heavy volume with a long upper shadow at highs to define reduce and stop-loss invalidation.
- Check whether volume and turnover support the trend, avoiding false signals from distorted penny stocks.
- Turn 5/10/20/60-day moving average states into observation, confirmation, and add levels.
Best For
- Short-term traders reviewing small-cap A-shares who need to judge breakout quality and pullback support.
- Individual investors tracking low-price thematic pulses who want to separate launch, acceleration, and distribution.
- Quant analysts building position plans who want to convert volume-price signals into observation, confirmation, and stop levels.
- Research assistants reviewing distorted order-book behavior who need to flag abnormal low-volume boards and gap breaks.
