About this skill
What Problem It Solves
In A-share short-term trading, the hard part is often not finding limit-up stocks, but deciding which ones have follow-through and which are only one-day impulses. This skill turns the vague idea of leader-stock potential into a reviewable scoring process: from a large pool of limit-up names, it filters for candidates that are strong across sentiment, theme, board count, price-volume behavior, and chip structure, while making risk limits explicit.
How the Skill Works
It is built around AKShare, pandas, and numpy, and uses a five-dimension, fifteen-indicator scoring model:
- Market sentiment and cycle: weighted 30%, used to judge startup, thaw, main rally, high-range, or decay phases, and to identify the strongest market theme.
- Leader status and recognition: weighted 25%, focusing on board height, leading position, consecutive-board memory, hot-money preference, and market recognition.
- Technical structure and price-volume behavior: weighted 20%, covering moving-average alignment, low-volume acceleration, high-volume seal, breakout, and other key patterns.
- Chip and capital structure: weighted 15%, combining profit-taking ratio, free-float market cap, and theme substance to judge underlying support.
The workflow usually starts from limit-up and limit-down pools plus sector rankings to locate the sentiment phase and main theme. It then inspects each limit-up stock’s K-line, moving averages, volume, capital flow, and chip distribution. The final score is grouped into >=80, 60-79, and <60, and the output can be rendered as an HTML report with a JSON data file for review or further processing.
Limits and Cautions
This skill is useful for after-close review, short-term candidate filtering, and discipline checks, but it should not be treated as a real-time execution signal. Leader-stock trading depends heavily on sentiment, regulatory conditions, capital flow, and theme rotation. A high score only means the stock is stronger inside the framework; it does not guarantee the next day’s rally. Users should still cross-check the opening auction, intraday absorption, sector ladder, and changes in the market-wide leader, and enforce stop-loss and position rules. For pure sentiment-driven stocks, sudden-news names, or illiquid names, the indicators may explain less of the move.
Use Cases
- After close, score the day's limit-up pool with five dimensions to rank candidates by leader potential
- Consolidate dragon-tiger lists, K-lines, and capital flows into a structured score and HTML report for team review
- Run a standardized scoring check on a candidate to confirm it meets the ≥80-point framework before entry
- Track the sentiment cycle phase and map the day's limit-up stocks to the strongest theme
Best For
- Short-term traders running the leader-stock strategy who need to replace gut-feel picking with a reviewable five-dimension scoring workflow
- Quant analysts who want to automate limit-up pool and dragon-tiger list pulls and batch-generate structured scoring reports in Python
- Trading team leads who need a standardized framework to unify daily limit-up candidate filtering and position sizing
- Retail A-share investors following the leader-stock strategy who want data-driven discipline over emotional position adding
