Problem Addressed

When a mature novel, outline, or organized story draft must move into screen production, the hard part is not missing source material but turning literary text into executable production artifacts: preserving characters, relationships, endings, objects, and motifs while adding scene numbers, settings, dialogue, shot logic, and asset continuity. This skill targets the execution chain from mature story to screenplay, shot list, and digital asset manifest. It does not produce actor bibles, director read-throughs, or production summaries.

How It Works

It advances through gated stages and pauses for confirmation at key checkpoints:
- Format judgment: proposes feature, short, series, or short-form vertical format before drafting prose.
- Prompt pack control: defines required invariants, adjustable items, forbidden changes, formatting rules, and self-check criteria.
- Scene outline and script: generates a scene breakdown first, then writes the standard screenplay in batches with a self-check report.
- Shot-list level selection: distinguishes key shots, scene-level boards, shot-by-shot breakdowns, and custom ranges, avoiding a coarse key shot list being mistaken for full production shots.
- Asset freezing: consolidates characters, locations, props, motifs, and costume/state continuity into entries with stable asset IDs, source scenes, and version status for later AI or production reuse.

Scope and Caution

The input should be a relatively mature story; if only a concept or very short text exists, the skill asks for protagonist, conflict, key scenes, ending, and tone. During shot-list and asset stages, it should not add plot, alter relationships, or change the ending. Assets should not be marked locked before the screenplay is confirmed. It fits workflows that need stable files, traceable revisions, and execution-level materials.
