About this skill

Problem

In short-drama production, scripts, direction notes, action, and dialogue are often scattered across documents, spreadsheets, and verbal notes. Editors, VFX artists, and art teams need shot-level details such as framing, camera movement, lighting, sound, transitions, and key visual anchors, but generic storyboards can miss commercial hooks or required on-screen elements, or compress continuous action into one shot.

How It Works

This skill turns input into executable shot-by-shot structure:
- Script and visual input: extracts plot, action chains, dialogue, character states, and director notes such as emotional curve, visual anchors, color style, and VFX direction.
- Shot breakdown: splits scenes into setup, conflict, reaction, reversal, and hook beats, with each shot carrying one primary action, reaction, or information reveal.
- Shot fields: outputs shot ID, duration range, shot size, visual description, character action, dialogue and sound, editing and transition, VFX and post, director intent, selling-point tags, and source basis.
- Execution constraints: visual descriptions must start with a shot-size tag like 【全景】 or 【特写】 and include at least two actionable details from camera movement, lighting, color, character state, composition, or post effects.

Boundaries

It is suitable for text storyboards in short dramas, ads, promo videos, action sequences, and high-emotion shots. It does not generate storyboard images, video, or audio. When director notes are missing, it infers from script context and does not add characters, props, or events that would change plot causality.

Use Cases

  • Turn a short-drama script and director visual notes into a shot-by-shot storyboard table for the camera and editing team
  • Convert action scenes and dialogue into shot JSON with framing, camera movement, and transitions, ready for downstream tools
  • Map director-mentioned visual anchors and must-on-screen elements to specific shot IDs with source references
  • Design short-shot, close-up, and audio-break editing rhythm suggestions for strong-reversal and payoff sequences

Best For

  • Producers handling short-drama pre-production who need director notes mapped to shot-level execution sheets
  • Screenwriters who write shot scripts and need fast text storyboards with framing and camera movement
  • Post-production leads coordinating with editing and VFX teams who need a unified shot-language description format
  • Production assistants reviewing storyboards who need to verify required on-screen elements and selling-point tags are placed
